Humane Society, the Atlantic Vet College, members of various factions of the Island horse community, as well as animal lovers.

Atlantic Horse & Pony Magazine Horse and Pony, the Atlantic region's only equine magazine, founded in 1987, is published six times a year. Editorial content spans a broad range of management, training and equestrian activities - from dressage to drafts, team penning to leisure trail riding. Copies of Horse and Pony are distributed by subscription and controlled circulation to riders, drivers, trainers, stable owners and hobby enthusiasts in eastern Canada and the US. Individual copy sales through tack shops, feed stores and newsstands, and distribution to veterinary clinic waiting rooms and affiliate groups provide additional exposure to horse people.
